The CESG Claims Tested Mark (CCTM) scheme is a UK Government scheme designed to provide assured products and services for users who have a need for Information Assurance. The scheme is administered by CESG, the Government’s National Technical Authority for Information Assurance, and the scheme website is here.

The scheme aims to provide assurance for products, and services, intended for use in the IL2 (IL3 for data destruction by degaussing) and below space, and has been tailored to be a cost and time efficient way of demonstrating a level of assurance. Possession of a CCTM certificate is fast becoming a de facto standard, and is a widely required qualification to allow products and services to be supplied into all levels of UK Government and the public sector.

SiVenture is one of the leading CCTM laboratories, able to undertake all kinds of Generalist testing; as well as being the only laboratory accredited to perform testing in the Specialist categories of Hardware and Smartcard testing, and Data Erasure (CESG Degaussing Lower Level).

SiVenture is able to assist you with the development of the required Information Assurance Claims Documents (ICD), to ensure that your claims document is likely to meet the requirements of the Scheme, before undertaking the required Basic Checks on the ICD prior to submission to the Scheme.
