EMVCo is an international organisation whose primary role is to manage, maintain and enhance the EMV Integrated Circuit Card Specifications to ensure interoperability and acceptance of payment system integrated circuit cards on a worldwide basis.

SiVenture is the only accredited full service laboratory, based in the UK, recognized by EMVCo for IC evaluations. A full service laboratory is one which has been assessed as demonstrating full conformance and full capability in all identified laboratory technical requirements of EMVCo.
